Introduction

As Particulate matter in the atmosphere has become an especially serious social problem in Korea and throughout the world, and as buildings get bigger and more concentrated, the interest in the indoor environment has been growing more than ever. To solve these global issues, the Korean Society for Indoor Environment will have the privilege of hosting Indoor Air 2020 in Korea and plans to go to great lengths to ensure the conference surpasses all expectations.

Under the theme “Creative & Smart Solutions for Better Built Environments,” the conference will cover the diverse disciplines of Indoor Air from the present to the future. For the future vision of the Indoor Environment, we plan to offer a dynamic and stimulating program of scientific and practical workshops as well as extraordinary events.

At Indoor Air 2020, academia and industry will gather in force to not only show their best, but to share valuable ideas and develop new friendships. Indoor Air 2020 will provide all participants a firm platform for a meaningful academic, industrial, social and cultural experience.
